Volunteer Orientation
4-H leaders are one of the core aspects of our 4-H program. Volunteering can open the doors for youth and yourself to gain new life skills through 4-H projects.
There are many reasons to volunteer.
- Get involved in your children’s activities
- Help in your community
- Share a skill
- 4-H Alumni want to share 4-H with today’s youth
No matter the reason, the 4-H program is glad you are considering becoming a 4-H leader.
Interested adults must attend one of our Volunteer Orientations. After completion of the orientation, necessary paperwork, and fingerprinting, 4-H Volunteers can lead science and service projects; drive on field trips; assist at the county/club/project levels; chaperone at camps and conferences, and experience all 4-H has to offer.
DATES:
Thursday, August 29 (6-9pm)
